展覽簡介

二零二零年，作者赴英學習攝影，兩年半內因公寓交屋延誤而被迫搬遷超過十二次，生活始終處於隨時準備位移的狀態。身為離「家」的藝術家，攝影成為她釐清文化歸屬的方式。受「根」字啟發，她採集當地據傳最早源自亞洲的楓樹落葉，以各種方式重組、再現其樣貌，表達失去根源的感受。如今跨國移動已成常態，《Origin》不再是離散的悲情敘述，而是一份關於現代人在頻繁位移中重組微觀秩序的紀錄。

In 2020, the artist moved to Leeds to study photography. Due to housing delays, she was forced to move over twelve times within two and a half years, living in a constant state of transience. As a diasporic artist, photography became a way to reconstruct her sense of belonging. Inspired by the word “roots,” she collected local maple leaves—a species suspected to originate from Asia—and manipulated their appearance to explore the feeling of rootlessness. Today, Origin is no longer a tragic narrative of diaspora, but a record of how modern individuals reassemble a micro-order amidst frequent displacement.

個人簡介

李穎然，現居台灣的香港視覺藝術家。她主要透過攝影與多元媒介，將抽象的身分與歸屬感議題轉向物質化實踐。作品常延伸自日常符號，如《Origin》以楓葉作為跨國移動的檔案；最新計劃《同 · 餘》則透過貨幣的物理打磨與化學氧化，在物質演變中尋找身分餘數。曾憑樣本書《Origin》獲 2023 年香港攝影書節「香港攝影樣本書獎」銅獎。

Victoria Li is a Hong Kong visual artist based in Taiwan. Through photography and mixed media, she transforms abstract identity and belonging into physical matter. Her work explores everyday symbols: Origin uses maple leaves to archive international movement, while Congruence · Modulo uses chemically altered currency to search for the “remainder” of identity. She won the 2nd Hong Kong Dummy Book Bronze Award at the 2023 Hong Kong Photography Book Festival for her book Origin.
